Residential Solar Solutions

A solar electric system can produce reliable and consistent electricity for your Florida home. Whatever your motivation for adding solar (environmental, economic, energy security, or self reliance), we can help find the perfect solution to meet your needs.

Homeowners can take advantage of federal tax credits, and many state and local incentives to offset some of the upfront cost. But time is limited! There are also several financing options available for homeowners, including energy-saving mortgages, home equity, Property Assessed Clean Energy Loans, and more traditional bank loans.

We’ll review all of the cost-saving options to make solar a sound investment for your future.

What does solar do for your home?

  • Greatly reduce or even eliminate your energy bill
  • Helps reduce reliance on grid power during peak hours
  • Offers energy security during grid interruptions
  • Increases the value of your home
  • Minimizes your homes environmental impact
  • Help monitor and automate power usage for optimum efficiency

What is the federal solar tax credit?

The federal residential solar energy credit is a tax credit that can be claimed on federal income taxes for a percentage of the cost of a solar photovoltaic system. The system must be placed in service during the tax year and generate electricity for a home located in the United States.

In August 2022, Congress passed an extension of the program, which provides a 30% tax credit for systems installed in 2022-2032 and 26% for systems installed in 2033.

There is no maximum amount that can be claimed, and the credit is set to expire in 2035 unless Congress renews it. Now is the time to act before these benefits run out!
